The fifth season of the FIVB Men’s Nations League for Volleyball will take place in 2023. Men’s volleyball international competitions take place annually. The contest takes place in June and July. The crucial match will take place in Gdansk, Poland’s Ergo Arena. Even though the final list of participating nations has changed, the overall plan has not. The final participant list has, however, undergone a few minor modifications. Due to the outcomes of the Nations League and Challenger Cup in 2022, Cuba’s rookies took the place of Australia in this edition.
The top teams from around the world will compete in a fantastic international competition at the FIVB, the organization in charge of governing the sport. On July 8, 2023, Poland and Canada will face off in a FIVB Men’s Nations League match. Two top-notch teams are competing in this event. Canada is ranked sixteenth, while Poland is ranked first. In the 2022 FIVB Men’s Volleyball Nations League, Canada came in third and Poland came in fifteenth. To win the table, both teams aim to do so.
The play’s structure is similar to that of the first. The following round will feature 16 men’s teams competing against one another in pools of eight teams. In the pool stage, each team faces the other 12 times. The competition’s knockout round will then include eight teams. These eight teams will have all advanced to the semifinal knockout round. Eight matches will then be played in the knockout stage: four quarterfinals, two semifinals, and the bronze and gold medal matches.
During the quarterfinal matches, the top team will take on the eighth-ranked team, followed by the second-ranked team taking on the seventh-ranked team, the third-seeded team taking on the sixth-ranked team, and the fourth-ranked team taking on the fifth-ranked team. The national team of the nation hosting the event will be guaranteed a place in the Final round. The host country will compete in the eighth spot if it finishes outside of the top eight in the first round.
