The fifth season of the FIVB Men’s Nations League for Volleyball will run from June 6, 2023, to July 23, 2023. In 2023, the FIVB Men’s Nations League final will take place at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland. Poland has already earned a spot in the knockout round due to its role as the final-stage host. For a chance to advance to the knockout round, the remaining fifteen teams will compete for spots in the top eight.
With a perfect record of four victories in four games, Japan finished Week 1 of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League 2023 in the first place. In their first four games, the host country, Poland, the USA, Argentina, Slovenia, Brazil, and the latter four all won three of them. Each competing team has accrued points, and each participating nation has achieved at least one victory. The 16 participating teams will be ready to make an impact as Week 2 gets started in order to secure a top finish.
On June 25, 2023, Poland and Bulgaria will square off in a FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League match. In this game, two strong teams will square off. Poland is ranked first globally, while Bulgaria is ranked 25th. Poland and Bulgaria finished third and fourteenth, respectively, in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League 2022. This time around, the top spot in the standings is what both teams are aiming for.
