Japan are placed fifth in the table and have 21 points from nine matches. They have won seven games and lost only twice so far in the competition.
In a clash between two sides sitting on the opposite ends of the Volleyball Men’s Nations League table, Japan face Canada on Friday. The round one clash will be extremely interesting due to contrasting reasons. The Asian side have been one of the in-form sides in the tournament, while the Canadians have struggled massively in the competition. Hence, it goes without saying that Japan will be the clear favourites in this clash. However, Canada will be keen to make the most of the remaining round one clashes in order to move as higher as possible in the standings.
Japan are placed fifth in the table and have 21 points from nine matches. They have won seven games and lost only twice so far in the competition. It is exactly the opposite for Canada, who have won just two matches and have suffered defeats on seven occasions. They only have six points from nine games and are placed 14th in the table. It will be difficult for Canada to take any inspiration from their recent form and their overall poor run of results throughout the competition. Hence, Japan must be the overwhelming favourite for this clash.
