On September 20, 2023, host Japan, will take on Bulgaria in a Pool B match of the Paris Olympics Volleyball Qualifier 2023 Women.
The FIVB Women’s Volleyball Qualifying tournament for the Paris 2024 Olympics is happening from September 16 to September 24, 2023 in three diverse cities – Ningbo in China, Tokyo in Japan, and Lodz in Poland. A total of 24 top-tier women’s volleyball teams will compete, with each team clashing with seven rivals in their group. From these clashes, the top two from each group will earn their ticket to the Paris Olympics in 2024.

The Japanese women’s team are currently third in their group with two wins in two games. On the other hand, the Bulgaria women’s team are struggling as they are presently placed eighth and last in the Pool B, having lost both the games that they have played so far in the competition.
