The fifth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League officially commenced on June 6, 2023, with the final showdown planned for July 23, 2023. The closing contests are slated to take place in the Ergo Arena, located in Gdańsk, Poland. The championship sees participation from 16 nations, split into 10 primary teams and 6 challenger teams, all vying for the esteemed 2023 VNL trophy. As the host nation, Poland has a secure spot in the knockout round. This setup leaves the remaining 15 squads to battle it out for the additional seven slots to progress to the final eight stage.

Both the teams haven’t been able to make an impression in this season of the Men’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL), winning just one match in their journey. As the two teams fight each other, they will finally grab their second win and gain some valuable points. However, it is unlikely for both to secure themselves a position in the top eight of the men’s VNL.
