The eagerly anticipated fifth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League commenced on May 30, 2023, and is scheduled to run until July 16, 2023. This prestigious tournament is being held across multiple locations, including Bangkok, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Brasilia, Antalya, and Texas, USA. The final eight knockout games for the VNL 2023 women’s championship will take place in Texas, USA, from July 12 to 16, 2023. As the host nation for the final phase, the United States has secured an automatic spot in the knockout round, regardless of their performance in the preliminary stages. Currently, the competition is in its third week, which began on June 27 and will conclude on July 2, 2023.

On Day Two of the third-week competition, China will play Serbia on June 28, 2023, at the Suwon KT Sonicboom Arena in Suwon, South Korea, in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League 2023. World no. 5 China has performed brilliantly this season, having won six of the eight matches they have played. Meanwhile, Serbia has clinched victory in three of their eight games and will be looking to gain crucial points in order to secure themselves a position in the top eight, being ninth in the standings at present. As both teams face each other on Wednesday (IST) at the women’s VNL 2023, China will definitely have an advantage over the Serbian side, considering the form of both teams.
