June 26th sees the start of the fifth edition of the FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League. Every time in the Nations League there are volleyball matches between international players. The event will take place from May 30 to July 16, 2023. The final leg of the competition takes place at the prestigious College Park Center in downtown Arlington, Texas. The top 16 countries from four volleyball federations will take part in the VNL. The FIVB, the sport’s governing body, organizes an exceptional international tournament between the best teams in the world.

The FIVB Women’s Nations League match between Brazil and Turkey will take place on 30 June 2023. This tournament brings together two great teams. Brazil is second in the world, Turkey sixth. In the 2022 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League, Brazil and Turkey finished second and fourth respectively. This time, the top spot in the table led to attacks between the two teams.

What kind of structure will the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League have in 2023?

VNL 2023 competition takes place in three separate daily stages. To ensure fair play between the 16 teams, the teams in the two groups rotate each week. Eight elite teams will take part in the finals, selected after three weeks of intense battles. During the group stage, each train will compete in twelve exciting matches. In addition, eight teams take part in an exciting knockout round. The order of these knockout rounds is determined by the team’s performance in the preliminary round. These main rounds will be held in various metropolitan areas including, for the time, Bangkok, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Brasilia, Suwon, Antalya, and Nagoya. The preliminary rounds run until July 2 and mark the beginning of the exciting knockout rounds.
