The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) heavyweight division has a new rising star, Tom Aspinall. Aspinall boasts an impressive win streak and is beloved by fans for his hard-hitting fighting style. While the realm of professional fighting may be familiar territory to Aspinall, his personal life, particularly when it comes to dating, remains largely unknown to many.
Aspinall’s journey into combat sports began when he was only seven years old, living in the United Kingdom. He was inspired by his father, a skilled mixed martial artist, to hone his skills in boxing and wrestling before transitioning to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Eventually, Aspinall won the prestigious British Open tournament. Aspinall started his professional MMA career in 2014, fighting Michal Piszczek in a local UK promotion. After joining Full Contact Contender and Cage Warriors, he made his UFC debut in 2020 against Jake Collier at UFC on ESPN: Whittaker vs Till.
Tom Aspinall’s second fight in the UFC was scheduled to be against Sergey Spivak during the UFC Fight Night: Moraes vs. Sandhagen on October 11, 2020. But once again his opponent Spivak withdrew from the fight due to reasons that are not disclosed to the public. As a result, Aspinall fought against a promotional newcomer Alan Baudot and won via technical Knockout in the first round.
Aspinall’s next fight would get scheduled against Andrei Arlovski at the UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Lewis on February 20, 2021. Fortunately, his opponent didn’t pull out of the fight and Aspinall won via submission in the second round, earning him yet another Fight of the Night award. Aspinall would then get scheduled for a fight with Sergei Pavlovich on September 4, 2021, at UFC Fight Night 191. But Pavlovich would get replaced by Spivak.
Throughout his career, Aspinall has been dominating opponents like Alan Baudot, Andrei Arlovski, and Alexander Volkov since then. Currently, he is recovering and training for his next fight against Marcin Tybura and is ranked #5 in the overall divisional rankings.
Aspinall’s personal life, particularly his dating affairs, remains undisclosed, unlike his well-documented professional life. He is currently married and he keeps his private life away from the public eye. His wife is equally discreet and maintains no presence on social media platforms, making it hard to find information on her. Even her name is unknown.
Aspinall’s personal life is largely a mystery, but we do get a glimpse into his world through his Instagram profile. The occasional family photo he shares showcase his three young children and wife. In one particular post, Aspinall shared an endearing snapshot of his family relaxing together in front of the TV with the caption “It’s impossible to beat a man that’s already won.” This shows us that Aspinall values spending quality time with loved ones and is a caring family man at heart.
