On Tuesday, the 2022 ATP Croatia Open's first round will feature Croatian wild card Dino Prizmic against world no. 81 Bernabe Zapata Miralles.

By his own standards, Bernabe Zapata Miralles has had a fantastic year in 2022. Given that he had never advanced past the first week of a Grand Slam before this year, his performance in the fourth round of the French Open this year was the pinnacle of his tennis career to yet. He also added that as a qualification. On the ATP Challenger Tour, the Spaniard has spent many years laboriously making his way into the top 100 players in the world. And now all of that effort has paid off. At position 81 in the standings, the 25-year-old is firmly established within the centennial club. Although he has played on the tour more often than the Challenger Tour this year, his season-to-date win-loss record is lower.
Dino Prizmic, age 16, will experience professional tennis for the first time in his home nation. One of the youngest players to ever compete in the main draw at Umag is Prizmic, who is well-liked in the Croatian tennis community. It will be intriguing to watch him compete at the highest level. He is one of three Croatian wild cards at the competition this week. Prizmic mostly competed on the ITF circuit, where he has won events, prior to his debut encounter on Monday. Prizmic’s performance in the semifinals of the Roland Garros junior championships indicates that clay is his preferred surface. He has just finished second at the JB1 Klosters ITF competition in Switzerland and is now in Umag.
Bbernabe Zapata Miralles and Dino Prizmic will take on each other on Tuesday July 26 in the first round of the 2022 Croatia open. The competition is scheduled to commence on July 25 and conclude on July 31 this year.
