Jim Courier, the former Grand Slam winner, asked Rafael Nadal about Xisca. When Nadal gave the ‘wildcard’ comment, the crowd gave out a cheer. The story of how they met was interesting. Xisca was good friends with Nadal’s sister Maribel. Actually, ever since the age of seven, Nadal and Xisca knew each other. The duo has known each other ever since childhood. When Nadal made his debut on the professional circuit at the age of 19, she was 17. In 2007, two years after Nadal had gained tremendous success, he announced to the world that he and Xisca were a couple. They lived together but did not marry for nearly 12 years. Nadal and Xisca married in 2019 after the end of the US Open.
Xisca Perello was born on July 7th, 1988 in Mallorca, the same hometown as Rafael Nadal. She is the daughter of an entrepreneur and a municipal employee in Palma. Xisca’s interests lay in business and she graduated from Business School. She was well-versed in Insurance. When Xisca started dating Rafael Nadal, she quit her job as a sports marketer in London and decided to manage his activities. In 2011, she decided to manage Rafael Nadal Foundation. Currently, she holds the position of Project Director of Strategy and Relations with Institutions
Yes, it is true. Xisca does not have an official social media handle on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. In an interview with Tennis-Shot.com a couple of years, Xisca gave the reason as to why she avoids social media.
“I am not in them because those images are snapshots of a moment. They are not planned. In the case of tennis, it was a spur-of-the-moment idea and they put it up because it was fun. But that’s it. Besides, I’ve always been very clear that I’m not the famous one,” Xisca said.
After getting married in 2019, the couple has not had children. But, Rafael Nadal has made it clear that he would love to have children and start a family. But, in an interview with tennisworldusa.org, Nadal explained that he will tell his children the importance of Xisca.

Rafael and Xisca got married in 2019 at the La Fortaleza Castle in Mallorca. There were over 350 guests in attendance. But, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic did not attend.
