Alycia Marlene Parks, a tennis player, was born on December 31, 2000, in the United States. She reached a career-high WTA singles ranking of No. 51 on February 6, 2023, and a doubles ranking of No. 52 on January 30, 2023. She gained entry as an alternate for the Charleston-based MUSC Health Open in 2021, where she participated in her first WTA Tour event. 2022-23 Journey

She entered her sixth main-draw match of her career in 2022, qualifying for the second round of the German Open in Berlin. As a result, on June 20, 2022, she rose to a career-high, moving up 34 ranks from 169 to No. 135. She defeated former world No. 1 Karolna Plková in a qualifying match at the Ostrava Open, where she was ranked 144, to get her maiden top-20 victory.  She then defeated Maria Sakkari, the fourth-seeded and world-ranked player, to earn her maiden top-10 victory and advance to her first-ever WTA quarterfinal. She then overcame top seed Caroline Garcia, earning her first top-5 victory, and went on to win her first WTA championship. As a result, on February 6th, 2023, she rose to a new career-high singles position of No. 51.
