American tennis player Alison Riske-Amritraj (born July 3, 1990) plays professionally. She won her maiden WTA Tour championship at the Tianjin Open in October 2014 before rising to a career-high singles ranking of No. 18 in the world in November 2019. She has won nine singles wins and one doubles title on the ITF Circuit in addition to three WTA singles titles. Her best singles results at Grand Slam competitions include making it to the fourth round of the Australian Open in 2020, the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 2019, and the fourth round of the US Open in 2013 (when she defeated world No. 1 and the reigning French Open champion, Ashleigh Barty). Riske pulled off a major upset at the US Open 2013 when she overcame former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitová in the third round before falling to Daniela Hantuchova, a former world No. 5 player, in the next round. At the Hobart International, Riske defeated Casey Dellacqua and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova to advance to the quarterfinals. She defeated No. 23 seed Elena Vesnina at the Australian Open and advanced to the third round before falling to No. 9 seed Angelique Kerber. She defeated Lyudmyla Kichenok in the first round of the WTA Premier Birmingham Classic and her twin sister Nadiia Kichenok in the second round to get to the third round. Riske, who was seeded sixth, won without dropping a set over.

She was defeated in straight sets by Caroline Garcia, the 17th seed, in the fourth round.
