Wang Xiyu, a Chinese tennis player, was born on March 28, 2001. On January 9, 2023, she attained her all-time-high singles position of No. 1 in the world. 49. On May 27, 2019, she reached her highest WTA doubles ranking of 240. On September 10, 2018, Wang Xiyu surpassed Clara Burel to claim the 2018 US Open’s women’s singles title, which was the only Grand Slam title she has ever won. Wang overcame third-seeded Maria Sakkari on August 31 to advance to the US Open round of 16, but she fell to Alison Riske-Amritraj in three sets. She was first on November 7, 2022, as she finished the year in the top 50.
