Laslo Djere is a Serbian professional tennis player (born 2 June 1995). He belongs to the Serbian Hungarian community. His two ATP Tour singles victories are the inaugural Forte Village Sardegna Open in 2020, an ATP 250 tournament, and the ATP 500 Series event in Rio in 2019, which helped him break into the top 30. Ere attained a career-high singles ranking of No. 27 on June 10 of this year. He peaked in the doubles rankings on March 22, 2021, at position No. 346 in the world. At the 2013 PTT Thailand Open, where he was a wild card, ere made his ATP Tour debut. The 2015 French Open marked his first effort to compete in the main draw at a grand slam; nevertheless, the 2016 French Open marked his first successful attempt. He achieved his maiden major slam victory at the 2018 US Open by defeating Leonardo Mayer in first round. In Senta, Serbia, on June 2, 1995, Laslo Djere was born to Hajnalka and Csaba (or aba). His parents died of cancer, both of them. At the age of five, ere and his father started playing tennis. He has a sister named Judit as well.

Djere achieved a career-high ranking of No. 37 after winning his maiden ATP championship at the Rio Open in February. He defeated Dominic Thiem in the process. Ere gave a moving speech during the trophy presentation in Rio to honour his late parents and dedicate the victory to them. Thanks to this victory, he was able to move up to world No. 37 and make his maiden appearance in the top 50. He then advanced to the 2019 Brasil Open semifinal in So Paulo, where he lost to Guido Pella. At the 2021 French Open, where he lost to sixth seed Alexander Zverev, reached the third round of a Grand Slam for a second time. He made it to the third round at the 2022 Monte-Carlo Masters for the first time at this Masters and for the third time overall in his career. Before falling to the third seed and eventual champion Stefanos Tsitsipas, he overcame Maxime Cressy and the 16th seed Lorenzo Sonego in straight sets. He needed nine match points to win in the 2022 Winston-Salem Open, but he managed to upset David Goffin, the 16th seed Joao Sousa, qualifier Jason Kubler, Richard Gasquet, and qualifier Marc-Andrea Huesler to get to his fourth final.
