Second seed Botic van de Zandschulp has made it through to the last four of the 2022 Winston-Salem Open after defeating 10th seed Benjamin Bonzi in the semi-final on Thursday. His win percentages on the first and second serves were 73% and 53% respectively and he also managed to win 11 service games.
Although he is unseeded in the competition, Adrian Mannarino has been playing like a top seed throughout the Winston-Salem Open. He has beaten three of the top 10 seeds so far and will now set his sights on van de Zandschulp for a place in the final. Mannarino defeated fourth seed Maxime Cressy in the quarter-final by a score of 6-4, 7-6 (7-3). The veteran Frenchman hit five aces and two break points in the contest.
Botic van de Zandschulp and Adrian Mannarino are scheduled to face one another in the semi-finals of the 2022 Winston-Salem Open on Saturday, August 27 at 1:30 am IST. The tournament is scheduled to run from August 21 till August 27.
