Argentine tennis player Diego Schwartzman will begin his 2022 ATP Tel Aviv Open with a round of 16 match against Arthur Rinderknech. Schwartzman is seeded third in the ATP 250 competition and will be looking to live up to expectations after a tough few tournaments in the recent past. The Argentine last competed in the Laver Cup where he played only one match against Stefanos Tsitsipas, losing 6-2, 6-1. He did not have a memorable performance at the 2022 US Open either as he was ousted in just the third round by an in-form Frances Tiafoe who won 7-6 (9-7), 6-4, 6-4.

French tennis player Arthur Rinderknech was in action in the first round of the Tel Aviv Open on Tuesday against Marius Copil. Rinderknech came into the match with a strong service game, scoring 5 aces en route to a 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 6-3 victory. The comeback victory was highly impressive as the Frenchman won two out of four break points and won 16 service games.
