Prior to Filip Misolic’s entrance, Rodionov, who was given a wildcard this time, was Dominic Thiem’s longtime adversary for the number two ranking in Austrian men’s tennis. He has competed in five senior finals overall, but he has only ever claimed one victory, which occurred in Stockholm three years ago. It did not go well last week when he returned to Sweden. He received a first-round bye and entered the competition in the second round. Alex de Minaur defeated him in the quarterfinals in straight sets.
