He defeated Branko Djuric of Serbia in a 3 set match 6-1, 2-6, 2-6 in the first round and after that defeated Lautaro Midon in straight sets in the second round. meanwhile his opponent Kyle Kang with the help of the support from the local home crowd also cruise pass by both first and second round where he defeated Paul Barbier Gazeu of France and Jakub Nicod of Czech.
Kyle Kang and Peter Nad are scheduled to face each other on Wednesday, September 7 in the round of 16 of the 2022 US Open juniors. The fourth and final Grand Slam of the season began on August 29 and will go on until September 11.
