The American pair of Taylor Townsend and Caty McNally faced Erin Routliffe and Alicja Rosolska in the second round and triumph over them in 3 set thrilling match 6-7, 6-3, 3-6 in their own turf. While Bernarda Pera and Dalma Gálfi defeated Leylah Annie Fernandez and Daria Saville 6-7, 6-3, 7-6 and will be ready to face the American duo in the round of 16 of the US open 2022.
Mcnally/Townsend and Galfi/Pera are scheduled to face each other on Monday, September 5 in the round of 16 of the 2022 US Open. The fourth and final Grand Slam of the season began on August 29 and will go on until September 11.
