Djokovic defeated Russian Karen Khachanov 6-4, 6-1 this week as he pursued a record-extending eighth Bercy victory. The 38-time Masters champion and 21-time Grand Slam victor will face Lorenzo Musetti in the quarterfinal match. Since losing to Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals of the May French Open, Djokovic has won 18 consecutive matches in individual competitions. The Wimbledon champion has now defeated Khachanov in 10 of their 11 encounters, with the lone loss occurring in the 2018 Paris Masters final.
