On Thursday, the second seed Botic van de Zandschulp will take on Spain's Jaume Munar in the third round of the 2022 ATP Winston-Salem Open.

Botic Van de Zandschulp reached his first ATP final in Munich this year but was forced to leave the match early due to an injury. 15th seed Chun-Hsin Tseng of Taipei took an hour and thirty minutes to be eliminated by Jaume Munar. To defeat Tseng 6-3, 6-4, the Spaniard converted half of the four break points he faced while saving four of them. Munar, who is ranked 57th this year, is 16-17. The 25-year-old won two Challenger championships this season, both on clay courts, where he performs best. In addition, he advanced to the quarterfinals in Melbourne and Gstaad. On Wednesday, he will aim to advance to his third quarterfinal of the year. In Winston-Salem, his previous best performance was a Round of 16 showing in 2018. Since that time, he has not advanced past the first round. However, after making it to the third round this year, he will want to advance further.
Botic van de Zandschulp and Jaume Munar are scheduled to face one another in the third round of the 2022 Winston-Salem Open on Thursday, August 25. The tournament is scheduled to run from August 21 till August 27.
The 2022 Winston-Salem Open will see six rounds of action excluding the qualifiers. These include the round of 64, round of 32, round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final for men’s. The tournament is scheduled to commence on August 21 and conclude on August 27 this year.
