Elisabetta Cocciaretto vs Katerina Siniakova will take on each other on Thursday, July 14 in the quarterfinal of the Budapest Grand Prix.
Wednesday’s match between the world number 93 Anhelina Kalinina and Katerina Siniakova ended in a forced retirement for the Ukrainian, but the 26-year-old will not worry because it ended her four-match losing run on the tour. The Czech is coming off of yet another Grand Slam triumph in Women’s Doubles with longtime partner Barbora Krejcikova following an absolutely flawless performance at Wimbledon, but she will still be worried about her singles form as she continues to fall in the WTA rankings.
After excelling on the ITF circuit this season, Elisabetta Cocciaretto, 21, is moving in the opposite direction. The Italian defeated local favourite Reka-Luca Jani in straight sets on Tuesday, inverting their first round encounter from this time last year. With Siniakova on her own performing below par, the Italian has a good chance of pulling off the little shock. Keep this match out of an accumulator, but think about going three sets and letting the outcome be random.
Elisabetta Cocciaretto vs Katerina Siniakova will take on each other on Thursday, July 14 in the quarterfinal of the 2022 WTA Budapest Grand Prix. The competition is scheduled to commence on July 11 and conclude on July 17 this year.
