The Championship League 2023, a professional Snooker Ranking event, is slated to be held from June 26 to July 21, 2023. Leicester’s Morningside Arena has been chosen as the venue for this esteemed event. This tournament, which is part of the 2023-2024 snooker season, stands out as it’s the first ranking event of the season.

The Championship League 2023 is hosting 128 participants, who belong to 23 different countries. England, China, and Wales are among the nations with the largest representation, contributing 63, 18, and 15 players respectively. The current titleholder, Luca Brecel, will not be part of the tournament to defend his championship this year.

Initially, there are 32 groups, each with four players battling it out in a round-robin format. Points are awarded based on wins and draws, with the top 32 players progressing to the next stage. This leads to eight groups of four, and subsequently to two final groups.
