These qualifiers are slated to take place from July 25 to July 29, 2023, in Leicester, followed by the culmination of the tournament in Nuremberg, Germany, scheduled from August 22-27. Matches featuring the top eight seeded competitors will directly proceed to the Germany stage.
Starting off, Kyren Wilson, the current titleholder, kicks off his title defense campaign against Dean Young at the European Masters 2023. Shaun Murphy will engage in an intense face-off with Graeme Dott, both former World Champions. After his sensational performance in the Masters, Judd Trump is set to compete against Mohamed Ibrahim, the 2022 African Champion.
Mark Allen, celebrated as the Player of the 2022/23 season, is drawn against Anton Kazakov. Ronnie O’Sullivan, currently the top-ranked player in the world, is set to meet Andy Hicks at the European Masters 2023.
