Hardik Pandya, who became a household name due to his all-round performance for Mumbai Indians in the IPL, will lead Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022. It is only fitting as Pandya comes from the city of Vadodara, which is approximately 100kms away from Ahmedabad.
Gujarat Titans have also opted for a brilliant combination of think-tank in their coaching room set up as former India fast bowler Ashish Nehra is the head coach of the team while 2011 World Cup-winning coach for India Gary Kirsten will serve as mentor.
The franchise looked to pick up an all-round side in the IPL mega-auction with Indian opener Shubman Gill, premier Afghanistan spinner and T20 specialist Rashid Khan, Australia’s Matthew Wade, senior India paceman Mohammed Shami and Kiwi all-rounder Lockie Ferguson included in the side.
All the matches of the IPL 2022 will be telecast on the Star Sports Network. Star Sports 1 will be the English Telecast while Star Sports 3 will have the Hindi Telecast. In addition, it can be viewed even on Star Sports HD networks. For Mobile Subscribers, they can watch IPL 2022 games on Hotstar.
