Royal Challengers Bangalore will host Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League 2022 Match No. 39 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on Tuesday.

Both the franchise have been consistent in the season so far and have 10 points in their kitty. The Sanju Samson-led side are, however, ahead of the Faf du Plessis’ team due to their superior net run rate. A win for RR would take them at the top of the table in their bid to qualify for the IPL 2022 playoffs while RCB will enter the top four spot.

RR will bank on their in-form opener Jos Buttler who has notched up three centuries in the season and looking strong with Samson and Shimron Hetmyer expected to play crucial knocks at the top. The bowling department will be led by the current purple cap holder Yuzvendra Chahal with fast bowler Prasidh Krishna playing a key role.

The form of former captain Virat Kohli and inconsistency will remain an area of concern for RCB. However, Dinesh Karthik, will be expected to make the most of his experience down the order. The bowling department will bank on Josh Hazlewood, Harshal Patel and spinner Wanindu Hasaranga.
