IPL 2022 PBKS vs SRH: SunRisers Hyderabad beat Punjab Kings to register fourth straight win 

SRH beat PBKS by seven wickets in the IPL 2022 clash on Sunday to register their fourth straight victory.

All-round SRH chased down the target of 152 runs in 18.5 overs with seven wickets in hand in the IPL 2022 clash against PBKS at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai on Sunday. 

In the chase, SRH, lost their captain Kane Williamson (3) early as it highlighted his poor run of form after missing out on international action for quite a while due to an injury.

Aiden Markram-Rahul Tripathi dependable for SRH

His opening partner Abhishek Sharma (31) chipped in with an important cameo of 25 deliveries which included three boundaries and one hit over the fence. 

Incoming batter Rahul Tripathi (34) continued on his fine form as he looked high on confidence in his 22-ball knock which included four boundaries and one six. 

Later, the power-hitting pair of Aiden Markram (41 not out) and Nicholas Pooran (35 not out), banked on some fine hits to guide SRH to a clinical victory. 

The duo were involved in an unbeaten stand of 75 runs for the fourth wicket with Markram hitting four boundaries and one six in 27-ball knock and Pooran hitting one boundary and as many sixes in his cautious knock off 30 deliveries. 

Rahul Chahar shines with the ball

Wrist-spinner Rahul Chahar was the pick of the bowlers for PBKS as he returned figures of 2/28. 

Senior South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada, meanwhile, picked up one wicket for 29 runs.
