Punjab Kings (PBKS) will face Gujarat Titans (GT) in the match 16 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on April 8 (Friday) at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. GT, lead by Hardik Pandya, will be looking to extend their unbeaten run. PBKS have won two and lost one match so far this season. Having a game in hand, GT is currently at third place in the IPL table while PBKS is at fourth.
PBKS, lead by Mayank Agarwal, won against CSK in their previous match by 54 runs. Liam Livingstone delivered with the bat by scoring 60 from 32-balls and also took two wickets. Rahul Chahar was the pick of the bowlers as he returned figures of 3/25.
GT under Hardik Pandya have won both their matches this season. They have looked like a all-round unit and will definitely be a tough challenge for the Punjab side. Shubman Gill looked in fine touch as he scored a sensational 84 against Delhi Capitals in their previous match. Mohammed Shami and Lockie Ferguson will lead the bowling attack for the Gujarat side.
