Tyrell Malacia, born on August 17, 1999, is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a left-back for the Premier League club Manchester United and represents the Netherlands national team. Malacia started his footall career at Feyenoord at the age of nine in 2008 when he joined their youth academy. He signed his first professional contract with the club on December 2, 2015. He made his professional debut for Feyenoord in a 2–1 victory against Napoli in the UEFA Champions League on December 6, 2017. Malacia made his debut in the Eredivisie for Feyenoord in a 1–1 draw against SC Heerenveen on December 13, 2017.

Malacia was born in the Netherlands and he represented the Netherlands in various youth categories, including under-16, under-17, under-18, under-20, and under-21 levels. He was also initially considered for the preliminary squad of the Curaçao national team for the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup. But on August 27, 2021, Malacia received his first call-up to the Netherlands national football team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification matches against Norway, Montenegro, and Turkey. He made his senior debut on September 4, 2021, during the match against Montenegro.
In the summer of 2022, Malacia made a significant move to Premier League side Manchester United, signing a four-year contract with the option of an additional year. The initial transfer fee was €15 million, with an additional €2 million in add-ons. On August 7, 2022, Malacia made his debut for Manchester United as a substitute in a 2–1 home loss to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League. On August 22, 2022, he started for the first time for United in a 2–1 win against Liverpool. He was also part of the United squad that secured a 2–0 victory over Newcastle United in the EFL Cup final on February 26, 2023, securing his first trophy with the club.
