The first leg at De Kuip ended in a 1-1 draw after Roma striker Romelu Lukaku canceled out Igor Paixao's opener.
Roma will play host to Feyenoord in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League playoff tie at Stadio Olimpico on Thursday. The first leg at De Kuip last week saw the Serie A side come from behind to a earn a 1-1 draw. De Stadio Club took the lead through Igor Paixao’s opener on the stroke of half-time, but Daniele de Rossi’s men fought back and scored the equaliser thanks to Romelu Lukaku’s 67th-minute strike. Meanwhile, Giallorossi have won three of their last five encounters with the Dutch outfit, losing only once in the process.

After the come-from-behind draw at De Kuip, Roma traveled to Stadio Benito Stirpe for a Serie A fixture on Sunday and put three goals past Forsinone without reply. One effort each from Dean Huijsen, Sardar Azmoun and Leandro Paredes helped La Lupa secure their 12th league-win of the season and take their points tally to 41 from 25 top flight games, just four adrift of the top four. Meanwhile, Giallorossi have been brilliant at Stadio Olimpico this term, losing only one of their last 15 home-fixtures across all competitions, recording 12 victories in the process. Moreover, striker Lukaku has been in fine form, scoring in 17 of his last 18 Europa League matches.
Feyenoord, on the other hand, will be disappointed not to have secured the victory in front of their own supporters last Thursday. The Eredivisie side quickly returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 league-success over Waalwijk on Sunday thanks to Mats Wieffer’s 84th-minute effort. The result extended their unbeaten run to nine games in all competitions, recording six wins in the period. Arne Slot’s side are currently occupying second spot in the Dutch top flight standings, having collected 52 points from 22 games, ten adrift of the summit.
