Bologna will be looking to make it three wins in a row in the Serie A when they travel to Olimpico di Torino to take on Torino on Monday night. The visitors are heading into the match on the back of a narrow 1-0 win over Inter Milan last Sunday, while Torino suffered a 4-2 defeat away to Juventus, two days later. Bologna are in pretty good form, having lost just once in their last six outings, while winning three of those matches. Last time out, the Petronians edged past third-placed Inter thanks to Orsolini’s lone goal 14 minutes from time. It was their 10th top flight victory of the season. Meanwhile the Red and Blues have won their last three Serie A-games on the road. Bologna are currently occupying eighth spot in the Italian top flight standings, having collected 35 points from 24 games, seven adrift of the top-six.
Torino, on the other hand, are sitting three places behind the Felsinians, separated by just four points. The Maroons are winless in their last three outings, and their previous win came against Udinese early in February, courtesy of Yann Karamoh’s lone goal four minutes into the second half. After that, the Bull suffered defeats against Milan and Juventus either side of a 2-2 draw against Cremonese. Their latest outing against Juve in the Turin derby ended in a defeat, despite the fact that Karamoh and Antonio Sanabria found the back of the net at Allianz Stadium.
Torino midfielder Samuel Rici is out with a suspension, after being booked against Juventus, Ivan Ilic is likely to partner Karol Linetty in the engine room. Meanwhile the likes of Nikola Vlasic, Valentino Lazaro, David Zima and Pietro Pellegrini are sidelined with injuries. As for Bologna, Marko Arnautovic has recovered from injury and could feature on Monday.
Torino Probable line-up: Milinkovic-Savic, Djidji, Schuurs, Buongiorno, Aina, Ilic, Linetty, Vojvoda, Miranchuk, Karamoh, Sanabria
Bologna Probable line-up: Skorupski, Posch, Sosa, Lucumi, Soumaoro, Schouten, Dominguez, Orsolini, Ferguson, Soriano, Barrow
