Luton Town will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to eight games in the EFL Championship when they host Millwall at the Den on Friday afternoon. The visitors are heading into the match on the back of a convincing 2-0 win over Watford last weekend, while Millwall played out a goalless draw away to West Bromwich Albion. Luton are currently occupying fourth spot in the English second tier standings, having collected 67 points from 39 games, just six adrift of the top two. The hosts, meanwhile, are sitting one place behind the Hatters, trailing by six points and four points clear of seven-placed Norwich City.

Luton secured all three points against Watford courtesy of two unanswered goals from Gabriel Osho and Allan Campbell. It was a dominant performance from the Hatters in front of their own supporters at Kenilworth Road, attempting 13 shots with six of them on target, while restricting the Hornets to just one attempt on target. It was Luton’s 18th second tier victory of the season. The Hatters have lost just two of their last 15 league-games since the turn of the year, while winning 10 matches during that period. Rob Edwards’ side have won four of their last five fixtures, scoring six goals and conceding just once during that process. Meanwhile, Luton’s previous visit to the Den ended in a 2-0 win back in 2021.
Millwall, on the other hand, have been a bit inconsistent in their last five games, recording two wins, two defeats and one draw. After back-to-back wins against Reading (1-0) and Swansea (2-1), the Lions suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at home to relegation-battlers Huddersfield Town, before being held to a goalless draw by West Brom last time out. Meanwhile, the reverse fixture against Luton last month ended in a 2-2 draw. Millwall took a 2-0 lead thanks to Zian Fleming’s fourth-minute opener and a 52nd-minute effort by Tom Bradshaw, but the Hatters fought back to level the score through Elijah Adebayo and Luke Berry.
