Manchester United had a busy summer transfer window, with plenty of players coming in and going out of the club. Among the new arrivals, Rasmus Hojlund’s signing has undoubtedly excited many fans. The Danish striker has been considered one of the promising young prodigies around, as he attracted plenty of interest from several clubs. In the end, Man United won the race to sign the young striker.

Rasmus Hojlund has already looked comfortable wearing the red jersey, which can often weigh heavily on many players’ shoulders. He has scored some impressive goals and has constantly looked a threat up front for Manchester United. The Dane has also formed a good connection with Marcus Rashford, as they two looked extremely dangerous in certain situations. He was part of the side that dramatically won the Champions League game against FC Copenhagen.

He then went on to discuss the relationship with the English international on the pitch. “Yeah, you can see we are trying to find each other. In the Sheffield [United] game, he nearly got an assist to me, and I think he has already assisted me twice in the Champions League. We are definitely trying to find each other on the pitch and I also tried to find him with a deep pass today, so we have a good connection,” Hojlund was quoted as saying by the club’s website recently.

Even though Hojlund is content with the start he has made to life at Old Trafford, the youngster feels he still has a lot to improve. “I know my worth. I know I have to perform every day because I play for Manchester United. In the end, I am only 20 years old and I am not the finished article yet. I still have a lot to improve and I am getting there slowly. I reckon I have had a fine start to the season and now we have to keep building and the goals will come in the Premier League,” he explained.

Andre Onana on Copenhagen win

The hero of the night against FC Copenhagen was Andre Onana. The shot-stopper brilliantly saved a last-minute penalty to secure the three points for Manchester United. However, he has gone to give the credit to Harry Maguire for scoring the winning goal on the night. “It was an important victory for us – we had to win this game if we wanted to continue this competition. We are Manchester United and we have a lot of ambition, a lot of expectation. We had to win this game. We cannot go out after the first three games already, we are too big to go out so soon as possible. We have to fight and work hard,” he said.

He added: “I am happy for the goal from Harry, He was the hero tonight and I am very happy for him. It was a good performance again from him, but we have to continue like this and, for sure, we will be stronger. It will give us confidence for the coming games because it’s not going to be easy, but we’ll give everything and be ready because the challenge is high, that is why we are here. We are one of the best clubs in the world so we have to fight for everything, every competition.”
