Juventus vs Roma: Serie A Live Stream, Schedule, Fixture and Probable Lineups

Juventus will host As Roma in a Serie A fixture at the Juventus Stadium on Saturday evening. The hosts are heading into the match on the back of a goalless draw against Sampdoria last Monday, while Roma secured a narrow 1-0 win against Cremonese on the same day. Roma have made an impressive start to their 2022-23 Serie A campaign, winning both of their opening games to occupy third spot in the standings. Juventus, meanwhile, are sitting at the fifth place with four points from two games.

Juventus began their new season with a dominant 3-0 win over Sassuolo courtesy of Angel di Maria’s opener and Dusan Vlahovic’s brace on August 15. However, in their recent match against Sampdoria, Massimiliano Allegri’s side struggled to get the better of a well-drilled opposition. The absence of Di Maria and Paul Pogba meant the Bianconeri had very little creativity while going forward and striker Dusan Vlahovic was a frustrated figure up front.

Roma, on the other hand, began their season with a narrow 1-0 win over Salernitana on August 15 before getting the better of Cremonese with a similar scoreline, a week later. Against Cremonese, Chris Smalling’s 65th-minute goal separated the two sides and helped Jose Mourinho’s side maintain their perfect start to the season. Meanwhile, former Juve-man Paulo Dybala seems to have settled seamlessly into his new surroundings and would be returning to Turin for the first time since making the move to the capital club this summer.

Probable Lineups

Juventus winger Di Maria is sidelined with a thigh injury, while midfielder Pogba is nursing a knee issue. Meanwhile defender Leonardo Bonucci could come back into the starting eleven, joining Bremer in the heart of the defence. Vlahovic is likely to lead the line with cuadrado and Kostic in support. As for Roma, Englishman Tammy Abraham is expected to lead the attack with Dybala and Pellegrini in support. Attacker Nicolo Zaniolo is sidelined with a dislocated shoulder. Matic and Cristant could sit in front of the back-three.
