Bristol City will play Forest Green Rovers in a pre-season friendly at Robins High Performance C entre on Tuesday. Both sides are heading into the game on the back of victories in their previous outings. Bristol City got the better of Plymouth Argyle 1-0 last Saturday, while Forest Green defeated Swindon Supermarine 2-1 on the same day. The Robins finished 17th in the 2021-22 Championship points table, 18 points clear of the drop zone, while Forest Green topped their group in the football League Trophy to earn promotion to the 2022-23 Football League One. It will be Bristol City’s third friendly of the summer, while the Green Army will be playing in their sixth preparation game.
