The fans were thrilled after the announcement of the Tougen Anki anime. Now I’m going to say it: Do not enter expecting something very original with a complex plot. It’s the most basic, yet entertaining, kind of Shonen anime.
An ordinary young man is the protagonist of Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood. At this point in his life, he is experiencing a number of transformations. He’s experiencing a plethora of perplexing impulses. Nobody seems to be there for him when he needs someone to talk to. He is correct. Because this poor child has to deal with the devil rather than just hormones, which is the norm for most adolescent boys!
Japanese folklore describes the Oni as devils, and Ichinose Shiki has inherited their blood. To what end does he inquire? In an attempt to merc him, an assassin bursts into his residence, which forces his foster family to confess his demonic ancestry. Then what does the underdog do? To master his new demonic abilities, he must enrol in demon school. A big cheer! The one catch is that the Momotaro are hell-bent on eliminating him before he can fully develop into a demonic being.

Kazuki Ura, who plays Yoichi Isagi in the psychopathic soccer anime BLUE LOCK, voices Shiki Ichinose. A voice actor known for his role as Koyomi Araragi in Monogatari, Hiroshi Kamiya voices Naito Mudano. Koutaro Nishiyama, who portrays Koji Tatsuishi in My Happy Marriage, provides the voice for Jin Kougasaki.
Distribution firm REMOW has announced that an anime version of Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise, written by Yura Urushibara, will be in production by the year 2025. With the announcement, the studio also unveiled three of Tougen Anki’s primary characters. It includes our anti-hero demon protagonist.
