In the previous Dandadan chapter, things are pretty exciting when Okarun had to figure out how to face Zuma without his usual powers. He put Momo on a staircase and thought hard about how to snatch the Gold Ball from Zuma without being super strong like before. At the same time, Serpo and a police officer were studying Zuma’s moves and trying to think up ways to slow him down.

Okarun came up with a plan but it didn’t go smoothly at first, he wanted Serpo to turn into a rocket but that didn’t work out. Serpo made a jetpack instead, but it didn’t go as planned and he ended up crashing. But Okarun didn’t give up and suggested using a heater powered by their running energy to mess with Zuma’s balance.

As they tried their plan, things got worse. A tornado showed up and made situation everything even crazier. Okarun, Serpo and the officer fought hard against Zuma but he was tough. He knocked down Serpo and the officer and then went after Okarun. Just when it seemed like things were going really bad, Okarun revealed a surprise: he had the Gold Ball while in his transformed state.
