BGIS 2021 The Grind Event: All details featuring 32 teams announced by Krafton

The first episode of the Chai Time discussion show was released a few days ago on Battlegrounds Mobile India’s official YouTube channel. Krafton gives some wonderful information and details about upcoming events during the discussion programme. During the live, Krafton announces a practise event called “The Grind.” The Grind Event for BGIS 2021 will be held in the first and second weeks of December 2021. Here are all of the event’s details, including teams and other information.

In-game trials will begin on December 4th and end on December 8th, 2021. From the in-game qualifiers, the top 1024 teams will advance to the next round. The online qualifications will be held in three rounds, with the top 64 teams progressing to the quarter-finals at the conclusion of the online qualifiers. These teams will next compete for a spot in the semifinals and then the Grand finals, where they will compete for a large prize pool.

  • 1024 teams will compete and 512 teams will qualify. Each team will get to play two matches.
  • 512 teams will compete and 224 teams will qualify. Each team will get to play two matches.
  • 256 (224 qualified and 32 invited) will compete and 64 teams will qualify for the Quarter Finals. Each team will get to play three matches.

The first major tournament, dubbed the BGMI India Series, would be available to everyone. Multiple online qualifying stages will follow the in-game qualifiers for the competition, which begins in November. To participate in the qualifiers, players must increase their ranks to the Platinum category or higher. The India Series, according to Krafton, would have a gigantic prize pool of $1,000,000 (1 crore), with the winner taking home the lion’s portion of $50,000. The prize money for the second and third places will be Rs 50,00,000 (50 lakh) and Rs 10 lakh, respectively.
