BGMI’s first official competition is the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS 2021). The event will be the biggest tournament in the game’s history, with a prize pool of 1 crore. Since the tournament’s announcement a few months ago, there has been a lot of hype about it.

Officials from the BGMI had earlier requested that the tournament be halted due to an increase in in-game hackers. However, due to the release of a new anti-cheat engine in the BGMI 1.7 upgrade, the event is set to begin on December 4.

Here is the link to the detailed schedule and format of BGIS 2021.

Three teams to give special attention to at BGIS 2021

1) GodLike Esports

GodLike Esports has wreaked havoc in BGMI esports tournaments since their new team was released three months ago, winning nearly all of them. Jonathan, ClutchGod, Neyo, and Zgod are among the team’s top players. The four players’ cooperation has dubbed them “the team to beat” in the BGIS 2021.

In BGMI esports, GodLike Esports is a force to be reckoned with. They’ve risen to the top thanks to victories in competitions such as LOCO War of Glory: Grand Finals, Ranbhoomi Season 1, and Skyesports Championship 3.0.

Line up includes:

  • Vivek “ClutchGod” Horo: IGL
  • “Jonathan” Jude Amaral: Scout / Assaulter
  • Abhishek “ZGod” Choudhary: Support Player
  • Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar: Entry Fragger

2) Velocity Gaming

Velocity Gaming
Velocity Gaming signed TeamIND roster for BGMI.

Velocity Gaming is the most recent squad to declare its roster. The lineup, however, has been one of the most constant for a long time, as four of the players previously played for Team IND.

On November 26, Velocity Gaming announced their lineup for the BGIS 2021, a day after Team IND did. From assaulting to sniping, violence to passiveness, the former covers all the bases. Velocity Gaming is a strong competitor for the BGIS 2021 crown, with a fresh start.

Line up includes:

  • Samir “Kratos” Choubey – IGL
  • Raj “Snax” Varma: Assaulter
  • Daljit “Daljitsk” Singh : Sniper
  • Randeep “Attanki” Singh: Assaulter

3) Team X Spark

Scout, who owns Team X Spark, released the new squad a few days before the tournament. Mavi and Scout left Team Soul and decided to play elsewhere, resulting in the formation of the new roster.

The aggression and attentiveness of Team X Spark is just right. They’ll be a team to watch in the BGIS 2021, especially with Mavi at the helm.

Line up includes

  • Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh: IGL
  • Tanmay “Sc0ut” Singh: Scout / Assaulter
  • Arshpreet “Gill” Singh – Assaulter
  • Hemanth “Ultron” Sethi – Support Player
