Berlin Major 2023: Dota 2 Teams who qualify for berlin.

From the 27th of April to the 7th of May, the Berlin Major will witness the clash of the titans, with 18 of the world’s most skilled Dota 2 teams slugging it out for a chance to claim the title of champion and bag the lion’s share of the tournament’s prize pool and points. Not only is there a whopping $500K USD at stake, but there are also 2700 DPC points up for grabs that could propel a team to TI12.

Who will compete in the 2023 Dota 2 Berlin Major?

Who are the elite teams that have made it to this prestigious tournament, you ask? The cream of the crop from different regions worldwide will be participating in the Berlin Major, with the Western Europe (WEU) and China (CN) regions sending their top four teams. However, only the top six teams will qualify for the main event at Velodrom arena, where they will lock horns in front of a live audience. Alas, only a few teams have secured their spots at the Major as the Division I of Tour 2 DPC is still in play in its final week.

Talon Esports and Team SMG have qualified for the tournament, thanks to their spectacular performances in the DPC SEA 2023 Tour 2: Division I. It’s worth noting that this will be Team SMG’s first-ever Dota 2 Major. As for Talon Esports, it was a foregone conclusion that they would snag a slot, given that the team is a hot favourite in the region, and they also secured third place in the Lima Major. There’s only one slot left for the SEA teams to fight over at the Major.
