A nail-biting thriller is likely to take place in the last T20I match between England Women and Australia Women in this three-match T20I series. Both teams will play against each other for the decider match on Saturday, July 8 at the historic Lords Cricket Ground in London. England Women started well with the bat as their top order, where the likes of Sophia Dunkley, Danni Wyatt, and Nat Sciver-Brunt scored the bulk of the runs in the last game. Wyatt played a quickfire 76-run knock at a great strike rate of 165.22. A quick cameo from Sophie Ecclestone and a few hits from Sarah Glenn helped England Women post a decent score of 186/9.

Australia Women, meanwhile, showed some very ordinary effort – be it with the ball or the fielding as well. Annabel Sutherland and Darcie Brown were the only two bowlers who did better than the rest, sharing four wickets between them. While chasing, Australia Women got off to a good start with the bat as they raced to 59 within the first six overs without losing a wicket. But soon after they started losing wickets and England Women picked wickets at regular intervals, which reduced the Aussies to 96/5 in 12 overs as well. Sutherland and Ellyse Perry did a great recovery during the middle overs but they failed to keep up with the required run rate even when Perry scored a quickfire fifty. In the end, England Women sealed the deal by three runs.
