According to reliable sources from Cricbuzz, the dynamic batsman has been given the green light by the National Cricket Academy and is slated to link up with the team on Friday, April 5 and is set to play the game against the Delhi Capitals.
The journey back to the cricket field has been a challenging one for Yadav. His last appearance in competitive cricket dates back to December 2023, where he showcased his brilliance with a remarkable century in the third T20I against South Africa. However, fate took a cruel turn as he suffered a grade 2 ankle tear during the series, necessitating surgical intervention. Subsequently, Yadav underwent a procedure for a sports hernia, which extended his period of rehabilitation at the NCA facility in Bengaluru.
