Verreynne has made a name for himself while playing for the Cape Cobras in the South African domestic T20 competition. Verreynee showed fine temperament and appetite for runs at a young age and was awarded a first-class debut at the tender age of 18. Ever since his debut, the youngster has played quite a few substantial knocks including two in international cricket. With an impressive average of more than 50, Verreynne is considered of the most talented batter in the domestic circuit.
