Warwickshire will play against Worcestershire in the upcoming match of the Vitality T20 Blast 2023 at the Edgbaston in Birmingham on June 23. Warwickshire have won eight games out of their 11 matches and they are at the top of the points table in the North Group. Worcestershire, on the other hand, have won seven games so far from 11 and they are placed second in the points table of the North Group as well. Warwickshire played against Yorkshire in their last match, where Warwickshire batters got off to a great start. They posted 180 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Yorkshire then started off well and maintained the required run rate but they kept losing wickets on a regular interval and lost the game by four runs.
Meanwhile, Worcestershire took on Nottinghamshire in their last match, where Nottinghamshire had a poor start, losing two wickets for the score of eight runs. Their middle order stepped up and helped them reach a decent total of 139 runs for eight wickets. Worcestershire started well in their chase and maintained a good scoring rate, which helped them chase as well. Although they lost a few wickets in the middle, they chased down the total with nine balls and five wickets in hand.
