Warwickshire and Northamptonshire are all set to face each other in a North Group match of the Vitality T20 Blast 2023 on Friday, June 9 at the Edgbaston in Birmingham. Warwickshire, led by Moeen Ali, are placed third in the points table with eight points and a net run rate of +0.692 as well, all thanks to wins in four out of seven games so far. After winning their first four games, they are now on a three-match losing streak as well.

However, they will go into the game after losing to Derbyshire by six wickets. After setting a huge target of 204, their bowlers failed to step up as their opponents chased down the target with three balls in hand. Northamptonshire, led by David Willey, are placed eighth in the points table with six points and a net run rate of -0.536 courtesy of wins in three out of seven matches in the tournament as well. Meanwhile, they will go into the match on the back of a four-wicket defeat to Durham as well. Graham Clark scored 55 runs off 30 balls as Durham chased down the 162-run target with seven balls in hand.
