Kent will play against Sussex in the 113th match of the Vitality T20 Blast 2023 at the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury on June 30. Kent have won seven games so far out of their 12 matches and they are in the fifth position in the South Group. Sussex, on the other hand, have won only five of their 12 matches and they are placed in the seventh position in the South Group as well. Kent had played against Middlesex in their last match, where Kent got off to a dreamy start as they had added 127 runs for their opening partnership as well. While Tawanda scored a fifty, Drummond notched up his fabulous century as well. That helped Kent to post a huge total of 228 runs on the board. However, Middlesex did not start well while chasing such a total they couldn’t start well, and they were bowled out for 173 as well.
Sussex, meanwhile, had played against Glamorgan in their last match, where Sussex had started well, but it turned into a horrible one where they lost four wickets within the powerplay. Shadab Khan then played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 87 runs which helped Sussex put up 182 runs as well. On the other hand, Glamorgan started better than their counterparts but could not sustain it for a long time as well as they could score 162 runs for the loss of eight wickets and Sussex won the match by 20 runs as well.
The tournament won’t be seen on television. However, it will be live-streamed on FanCode.
