While showing a stunning performance, Surrey’s innings were built up by Evans and Roy who set them up with a competitive total of 187 as well. Then, the bowlers, led by Moriarty and Abbott, provided crucial breakthroughs and kept the pressure on. However, it was Abbott’s thrilling final over that secured Surrey’s remarkable 13-run win, helping them reach an exciting semi-final clash as well. And, it will be interesting to see which team will reach the final.
The batters will get the benefit at Edgbaston where a high-scoring game can be expected as well. However, playing conditions are not so pleasant with a 90% chance of rain during the game. Moreover, the temperatures will be around the 18-degree Celsius as well.
