The second and final unofficial one-day match between Namibia and Uganda will take place on July 13 at United Cricket Club Ground in Windhoek. However, Namibia registered a thrashing victory against Uganda in the first one-day match and took a 1-0 lead. However, Uganda had a poor show with the bat in the last one-day match. They could manage only 127. The Brian Masaba-led side faced a heavy onslaught from Pikky Ya France and Ruben Trumpelmann who registered stunning figures of 6/22 and 3/18 to dismantle Uganda’s batting lineup.
Kenneth Waiswa (42 off 68) and Alpesh Ramjani (23 off 33) tried their best together but the stunning bowling efforts from the Namibian bowlers didn’t settle them in the middle. Namibian openers Shaun Fouche and Lohan Louwrens single-handily punished a highly inexperienced Ugandian bowling attack as well. They added an unbeaten opening stand of 128 runs to reach their target in less than 26 overs as well.
The match will be live-streamed on FanCode.
