Ba11sy Trichy will play against the Chepauk Super Gillies in the 25th match of the seventh edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2023 on Sunday (July 2) at the Indian Cement Company Ground in Tirunelveli. Ba11sy Trichy are having a poor tournament in TNPL 2023. They are placed at the bottom of the points table. They have so far played five games and failed to open their account too. They were defeated comprehensively by Siechem Madurai Panthers in their last match as well. Mani Bharathi top-scored with 48 but he didn’t get any support from the other end as they got bundled out on 105. The bowlers picked up three wickets but failed to defend the total as well.
However, the Chepauk Super Gillies are also having a poor show in the competition. They have won two matches out of six and they have only four points in their name. But, they lost to the Siechem Madurai Panthers in their last game. Bowling first, the Super Gillies did a fine job to restrict the Panthers to 141/7. The batters, however, couldn’t manage to do well in the chase as they only managed to score 129 in their 20 overs to lose the game by 12 runs as well.
TNPL will be live telecasted on Star Sports Network via Star Sports 1 Tamil and Star Sports three channels. Live Stream will be available on the Fan Code app as well.
