In the IPL 2024 auction, people complained about the Replacements Bangalore (RCB) team’s choices. They spent a lot of money on some players, which raised eyebrows. Yash Dayal is one of these players. He had trouble in games against Rinku Singh before. Yet, RCB spent a whopping Rs 5 crores on him. Fans are asking questions. They’re unsure if paying so much for Dayal, considering his past record, is a smart move in the auction.

People were surprised when Alzarri Joseph was bought for Rs. 11.5 crores. His performance in 2023 was not impressive. RCB let go of top pacers like Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood, David Willey, and Wanindu Hasaranga. This decision was puzzling as these are tried and tested players. Instead, they opted for Joseph. His high price tag became a joke online. Fans started calculating how much each six hit off his bowling in a disastrous T20 over would cost. He had given away five sixes in that over. This sparked debate about RCB’s decision and brought their auction strategy under scrutiny.

Fans are buzzing about Alzarri Joseph and Yash Dayal joining RCB. However, lots of cricket fans think that RCB’s auction moves might not reflect a solid, balanced plan. They feel RCB has spent too much, and missed out on consistent players. This makes fans worry about RCB’s prospects for forming a competitive, well-integrated team for the next IPL season.
